Porcelain Crab - [Neopetrolisthes maculatus]
Aer Perang, Lembeh Straits, North SuluwasiI spotted this porcelain crab on a couple of dives before. I had been take pictures of a clear anemone shrimp on my past dives. But this time I saw this guy was out feeding. Notice his front claws have a fan like extension on them. I would see him catch things to eat while waving them or sitting still. He would then bring them to his mouth. It was like he was dancing with his claws. I love the color of this anemone, I like how this crab blends in.
Size: Carapace up to 20 mm (~3/4 inches)

How archival are Metal Prints?
Images printed with the MetalPrints process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Like any fine art print, MetalPrints should not be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures. MetalPrints have an additional benefit over giclee or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating. The archival value of a print should be judged not only by its resistance to degradation by U.V. light and ozone exposure, but also to moisture and surface damage. When these factors are brought into the equation, MetalPrints are an excellent way to preserve an image.
